As a talent he's one of the best of all time, him and Roy Jones were very special imo. But he's overrated as a boxer when you consider his record, he ducked fighters and padded that 50-0 and his style was very boring.

Then why did you pick 1975?

Top 10? That's Roberto Duran territory. Durans best win is prime SRL. What is Mayweather's best win?

Top 15 is SRL territory. Leonard's best win is Tommy Hearns at 147. What is Mayweather's best win?

I didn't say Mayweather was top ten for that sort of thing. I said he was between 20 & 30.

Oh ok I just reread your post. You said Mayweather could be among the top 10 best fighters ever, but on terms of greatness is 20 to 30.

I agree Mayweather doesn't have the top end wins to be top 20 ATG.

I feel like 1975 is turning the clock far enough back, and no mas es necesario.

If he comes back to fight Jake ''Money'' Paul, and word on the street is he's seriously contemplating doing so, and actually pulled it off and beat Jake ''Money'' Paul - well, that's as big as it gets and he would unquestionably be the GOAT and the gap between him and the rest of the pack would be insurmountable.
