Clen is so use to getting his way and having his ass kissed constantly in camp that he has no grip on reality. If you ever watch footage of him just showing something in the gym to say someone like Garcia, Reynoso and the other hangers on will start applauding. It’s pretty ridiculous…. But I guess when he’s the bread winner it’s there way of building the bosses ego.

Every top fighter will say that they won a fight after losing, it's only natural that their pride and ego takes over while still in denial. Happens all the time.

Ali said that he won the fight against Frazier in the FOTC, even claiming that the results was from the "white man's decision".

You can cut him some slack because he said that in the ring shortly after Bivol was declared the victor.

Since then he has obviously watched the fight back and accepted defeat.

ROFLMAO Ginger You got your ass kicked just like you did against GGG twice among others, only difference is the judges saved him. I'll bet old Bob Bennett ripped all 3 a new one! LOL They screwed up, each thought the others was supposed to give Canelo the 12 th to make it a draw to look good

I agree that there is a decent chance of this happening. Bivol clearly held back because the win was so much more important than a KO. He was unwilling to take the added risks of possibly getting caught in an exchange. The win was a life-changing event for Bivol. He had to secure that first. He was very smart in how he handled the whole scenario. He was calm, composed and executed his plan as well as anyone could. Big kudos to the professionalism shown by Bivol.

Canelo's body language after the bell in the last round does not show anything similar to this statement.

What's supposed to work exactly?

I meant to say that a lot of top fighters won't admit to losing. Didn't mean to say every single fighter but you get the idea. Lots of fighters that lose convincingly won't admit to losing. Like Teofimo Lopez when he lost to Kambosos or Broner against Pacquiao.
