    Kalle just confirmed on Channel 5 that Kelly’s opponent pulled out because Josh was 1.2kg over the weight.

    After his previous cardio issues and now tonight’s fiasco isn’t it about time he sorted his weight issues out properly.

    Surely he has to move upto 154, why keep draining yourself to a weight you've clearly outgrown.

    Why he hasn't stepped up to 154 is beyond me..........................

    Hopefully this is a wake up call for him and his team. By not moving to 154 despite outgrowing 147, it’s like he lacks the belief in himself to compete at 154.

    Doubt a move to 154 would change anything.can’t cut it in the pro game.

    Josh Kelly and Booth are a complete shambles. Why the hell can’t he make the weight like anybody else.

    The opponent appears fully in his rights to fcuk the fight off.

    What did they both weigh in at?

    The only weight I can find on twitter says:
    Kelly 156.6lB
    Vrenozi 159.8lb

    So both over 154, but Vrenozi by more.

    Booth has come out and said they had agreed with the promoter 2-3 weeks before that Kelly would be fighting at 157

    If he's serious at 154, then it begs the question why not just agree to fight at 154, rather than 157.

    Just seems absurd, he should have no problem making 154.
