They could have easily given Canelo another round if they wanted. Canelo probably gets the Michael Jordon treatment.
they knew if they gave the fight to him in the form of a draw, they would all be sued and probably fired and banned permanently
Teddy thinks his opinion is gospel when he’s often clearly wrong. He’s a known Canelo hater so no one should take what he says seriously. Teddy tries to pass himself of as anti-establishment, telling the raw truth. That’s why he always makes terrible picks in fights and rallies against anything that is popular and doing well. He’s a contrarian, he thinks that makes him Socrates when in reality it makes him more like Joe Rogan. A dumb dude who is really feeling himself.
Teddy's confusing me. If a fight is stopped before the 4th round is completed due to an accidental foul it's declared a no contest right? And I find it more likely for the fix to go something along the lines of give Canelo the close rounds, not lets give him the first 4. These days it's all "sports entertainment" and they have a product to sell. Canelo sells, Bivol doesn't. Not yet anyway.
absolutely! also it doesn't help that over the years, he was more often wrong than he was not. But the recent bitter version does seem to get more things right
His picks are usually right and he always has an argument behind them. Offcourse there is some bias there as clearly there was with Wlad but he makes some good points.
I think they did plan to rob Bivol but starring into the face of a 10-2 fight I believe that lost their nerve and backed off as the repercussions would have reverberated through the fight world and all 3 judges would have been the new Adalaide Byrd in bad decisions.
I don't care if Weisfeld owns his own Dairy Queen Canelo did not sweep the first 4 rounds, he was outlanded by Bivol in every round of the fight including the 1st 4. I had the fight 118-110 with one round I thought could have been Canelo's so 117-111 was as much as I'd go. I also knew there was no way, no way it would be that wide. Bivol outpunched him had better defense, and ring generalship. Bivol controlled the fight in every round, he was in charge of the action and dictated to Canelo at every turn. I've said this before, C
