Are we considering Forrest a lateral move from Fedosov or what at this point? Upgrade, downgrade?

What terrible performances - are they trying to drive away fans with these awful singers?

    Why delay the fights?

    Problem with Forrest’s gloves.
Castano Charlo is starting.. now I hope they found no gloves for him for awhile lol

Hard to say. He'll likely cause Pulev some issues since he causes everyone he fights issues, while Fedosov has traditionally blown a bit hot and cold throughout his career. I'd say lateral in the replacement category.

Upgrade by resume obviously, but in reality both were coming to win and it pretty much relies completely on whether or not Pulev is wiltered in both cases, so I'll say lateral.

Not quite sure how obviously. Forrest's biggest career matches are still technically all blemishes, as either losses or draws. He doesn't have a dub of good enough quality to shade out Andrey's run in the Boxcino tourney, nor his current one of Dawejko and Majidov.

Prime for prime Fedosov is a much higher caliber fighter than Forrest, who is more an underrated, overachieving journeyman. Fedosov is the opposite, guy that had oodles of potential and sort of squandered it on the sidelines.

I give Forrest resume credit based on how I scored his fights:

    W vs Hunter
    W vs Franklin
    D vs Zhang

if you change it to D Hunter and L Franklin it's close but I'd still say Forrest has the edge.

Of course, I really like Fedosov (and was very glad when he KOd that traitor Majidog) but by resume I just think he's outmatched, and prime to prime I give him 0 chances vs Pulev, same for Forrest, so Pulev will have to have wilted either way.

Fair enough if you count gutsy draws for résumé strength (as well as having robberies go against you). But in terms of official wins, Forrest's best would be Fedosov's fifth or sixth best. He doesn't have one as good as Donovan Dennis tbh.

I guess it depends on what you expect out of this fight, Pulev getting a win over a somewhat name guy who's shown flashes of decency throughout his career but is also quite flawed and prone to dropping the ball at times, or Pulev getting a win over a lower level (on paper) journeyman type who's known for giving guys of Pulev's level a lot of problems without ever doing quite enough to win it (though he beat Hunter who's around Pulev's current level). The former will look better on Pulev's resume, while the latter will show he's still somewhat relevant at the lower end of the HW world scene, assuming Forrest doesn't do a number on him and get robbed of course.
