Congrats to the man on a great performance, but just like the Canelo-Bivol fight, bad judging leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

I can understand anything from 5-4 charlo to say even maybe 6-3 at worst but giving only one round to Castano is criminal.

I agree. It was a tit for tat type of fight.

Something has to be done about these judges. Screwjobs, even more than title proliferation, is ruining boxing.

Not surprising. This judging recently has been criminal. 8-1 is disgraceful.

It’s a really big deal though. A loss in today’s game is a huge setback for a fighter’s career.

Your favorite fighters are the ones that always seem to profit from it. Hence, you don't want judging to become fair, because they might actually start losing regularly then.

Yes it was a tit for tat kind of fight but scoring it RBR it was tough to give too many rounds to Castano.

Charlo was consistently winning the exchanges, I didn't score it but would say 7-2/6-3 sounds about right.

Props to both fighters for a decent couple of fights and glad we got the conclusive ending as well.

Everyone knew the fix was in. The first fight was fixed as well. Castano won that pretty clearly.

    Charlo brothers are protected BUMS.

All they have is power, youth, speed and athleticism.

    Boxing-wise they're BUMS.

After that first fight robbery they weren’t taking any chances. The judges were more relieved when Charlo knocked him out than Charlo fans. That sort of thing takes attention away from the corrupt scorecards. Boxing needs open scoring with the scores announced after every round. It won’t eliminate corruption but it’s a good step in the right direction. I understand why corrupt judges would oppose open scoring.

8-1 was horrible and that judge needs to be investigating. With that said charlo was winning the fight up until the stoppage I had it 6-3 or 5-4 at worst
