Archie Moore also appeared on the family comedy show Family Affair in the 1960's.

Must’ve been a thing for pugs to act alongside the pastel police, Tubbs and Crockett. Probably due to the heavyweight storylines and Olivier-like acting of the principals.

Further note to self: Miami Vice loved Phil Collins and Phil loved Miami Vice very much back. The Hangover merely stood on the shoulders of a giant, a giant that boldly played the whole 5 1/2 mins of Collins’ classic in its pilot episode. Ah, the avant garde 80s.

Travelling further back in the very comfortable Hot Tub Time Machine you’ll find George Foreman and Jerry Quarry in The Six Million Dollar Man.

AND - Show me just one kid who didn’t imitate the bionic sound effects from that show and take that all the way into their adulthood and present time. There’s not a one including yours truly. Iconic stuff.

Warning: When you cross decades from 80s to 70s you will have to ditch the debauched Hot Tub and don a Swinging Safari Suit at the Time Travel Fashion Interchange in order to allow further forbidden movement against God’s one way chronological order.

Many travellers have baulked at the 80s/70s decade cross over stipulation - explaining that while time travel is very cool, they wouldn’t be caught dead in a safari suit…….no matter what.

If only they sucked it up, all that awaited them at their next check point in time was simple long hair, beards, beads, tee-shirts, mohair sweaters, good old weed and, most importantly, FREE LURV. That’s when the time tripping gets really trippy and lots of fun.

Peace out non-non binary brothers and sisters. :rocker:

Rocky Marciano, he always seemed to be loyal to his friends, seemed to not to be a diva even when got successful, and he might have trusted me enough to tell me where all that supposed hidden money was.

Yeah i'd want to hang out with Marciano, if for no other reason than when he was the champ he truly valued being so, summed up in his quote and one of my favourite boxing quotes:

"What could be better than walking down any street in any city and knowing you're the heavyweight champion of the world?"

However i ain't getting on no plane.................

Big Frank Bruno a genuine gentle giant and seems a loyal and honest kind of guy obviously had a lot of personal issues in the past but I'm sure he would have your back.

Patterson is a great call, but I might choose Joe Louis, who was no saint, but who had a very simple, honest eloquence that I would like to be surrounded by.

Nothing wrong with hanging around a classy family man like Rocky Marciano, he was not boastful, nor did he want to copy cat others. He was loved by many, his record speaks for itself, intelligent enough to walk away and never come back, greed was not his thing.

Maybe Graziano, I remember him telling how Marciano would visit him and never bring a dime or any clothes, by the time he left the frig was empty and all of Graziano's shirts were stretched out, he never complained, thats a good friend!

Rocky Graziano vs Sugar Ray Robinson on April 16 1952 was a very actin packed fight as long as it happened, Robinson did say that Graziano did shake him up during the fight in which Robinson won. Rocky appeared on a motion picture Mr Rock and Roll (1958) and Somebody Up There Likes Me (1956) in a movie depicting his life. He also appeared in several television series.
