So he punches harder than Tarver ?Tarver's KO's came against Lt Heavy !! More weight equals more power !But then again your insane if u think he has better power than Tarver !




And what happens when he can't punch from that distance ? Right now he has had KO against fighters with horrible defense ..I expect Hopkins to nulify Kelly's power by staying inside of his punching range !

Kelly's power at the end of his punches lets see what happens when he can't get full extension I will revisit this post once that happens ! There will be no KO 's in this fight garunteed !

 

Again with the age nonsense ..He's currently ranked in the top 10 p4p and lost a razor thin split d to one of the best super middle weights of our generation ..Unless somehow Pavlik starts working like Calzaghe I don't see any reason for Hopkins to tire ..And so u know he's twice the fighter above 40 then he was at 26 ..Remember he is a freak of nature ..

 

Hopkins is going to frustrate the hell out of Pavlik on his way to a split decision ..

 

Hopkins, upon figuring out early that the ref wont allow him to clinch is going to run all night, and Kelly will stalk and hurt him, but Hopkins, ever the runner/survivalist will make it through 12 and lose a UD.

 

He can counter, throw and land that one punch enough times to win rounds, great defense, movement. He might be too old for me to add way more to what he actually has but with Pavlik's defense and style Hopkins won't have that much trouble at all. Tarver is way better than Pavlik technically and also a southpaw to boot yet still failed and failed miserably.

Bernard's going to be fighting p4p men when he's about 70 at this rate.

 

Hopkins may not throw in bunches anymore, but he has enough defensive savvy, lateral movement, and stubborness to lose a boring decision and claim he got robbed because there's no bruising on his face.
