Wilder fought Fury because he had no names on his resume His team thought it would be an easy way to get a big name on his CV esp with how he'd looked since he came back A win against Fury would have given Wilder a huge push at any negotiation table moving forwards Didn't quite go to plan
How can he extend himself further than beating the #1 HW in the divison? There is literally no where else to go. Joshua could use the excuse to avoid Wilder. None of the other HWs other than Whyte was trying to fight Wilder, which is a step down from Fury. For Canelo, he is to be commended for going up to fight Bivol, I do agree. I think its a cherrypick gone wrong, but still commendable.
Not one person has explained why it would do more for Wilders resume to fight someone other than Fury. Usyk wasn't even an option until relatively recently and he is tied up with Joshua in a contract.
Fury addressed you and the other Wilder nut jugglers 3x. With back-to-back stoppage victories. #crymore "he's got no power. I'm not scared of him. He's the softest punching heavyweight in history" - Deontay Bambi Wilder talking about Fury This content is protected
Bivol is better P4P than Fury and better than anybody at middle or super middle, Charlo isn`t that good and neityher is Andrade.
Mark do me a favor. Stop smoking crack and stop talking to me. There is absolutely no one on planet Earth who thought Bivol was better than Fury before he beat Canelo. Bivols family didn't even think that.
And no one outside of the US knew who Wilder was until he started mentioning Joshua's name. Now he's all but forgotten to anyone but his Lions Den Community who relish in what he once was. Where is Wilder these days?
If he fought Whyte and knocked him out in one round, he would probably have been criticized for not rematching Fury.
