Just like Sam Maxwell who vacated when Dalton became mandatory. absolutely no reason for Ennis-Brown to duck, 100% bottled it. no one in the domestic british 140 scene seems to want any smoke with Dalton Smith.
Dalton is going to struggle to get another prospect in there with him. Someone like Liam Walsh should move up and go for it imo
He did say he had a genuine reason, be interesting if he is out the ring for a bit, as it would suggest it isn't a duck
I don’t think Brown would duck Smith when he is one of the most avoided fighters himself who sells no tickets and isn’t a big name. Since losing his British and Commonwealth titles in that robbery against Sam Maxwell, his opportunities appear limited. I would believe Brown on this one.
Browns CV is decent , very little ducking in his career but I think if he had a 50/50 reason to pull out and took it . I would not blame him , he will need to be at 100% for that fight.
