Clayton was looking for a soft spot to land,
Yes. He didn't come to fight. He was looking for a soft spot to land and get paid.

Very interesting post this mate. Almost every card you produce I agree with to some degree. And as I rewatch fights I tend to read through the rbr threads thus seeing scores my trifecta of accredited scorers, namely yourself, Pinoy and CST.

The Canelo fights I went through and watched, I disagreed with you a good few times. Well I say a few, I think it was Trout, Lara and Jacobs. I had him edging those and I think you had him comprehensively losing.

But then i also had it 12 zip for Mayweather against him.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not at all looking to debate these fights, just commenting that I found it interesting.

On a side note it was funny seeing the early days when CST was a huge Canelo fan, boy has that changed.

Zoo is a relative bore who can wait, I could care less about that fight right now with a more compelling challenger and livelier match there to be made in Fundora. Charlo can punch and Sebastian comes on like a spectacular KO just waiting to happen, but there's also an enticing question mark as to how Jermell handles that pace and crowding, octopus-like physicality.

Reminds me of middleweight in 2007, not in precise terms of a style matchup, but in that it feels like there's a possible breakout moment in the offing, i.e. that Erickson Lubin might've been Fundora's Edison Miranda and Jermell Charlo might be his Jermain Taylor.

Matchup has the ingredients of a bonafide thriller and needs to be Charlo's next significant outing.

Korobov lost 119-108 on one of the home PBC judge's cards against Jermallo in a fight most believe he won, I believe he won, I believe he swept the first six or seven rounds in, and he was lighting Jermallo up like a Christmas tree with his southpaw straight left down the pipe all throughout those rounds before his gas tanks started to run dry in the second half of the fight, which can't have been helped by the fact he had only fought once in 25 months, a six rounder against a literal bum, and had been training to face another one in an eight rounder.

But even if you belong to Club DKSAB and scored it for Jermallo no one can even begin to defend such blatant corruption as Korobov, who FTR is one of the sport's nicest and most humble warriors and one, if not the, most unlucky fighters in recent years, not winning a single round.

And if that wasn't bad enough the three home PBC judges robbed him blind in his very next fight in a fight he clearly won

His career is over now. Done. He uprooted his homeland and moved to the land of opportunity to try and forge a career for himself, pursue his dream, and provide for his family and not only was he robbed of his dream he has very little to show for all the sacrifices he made due to the corrupt Jon Snow's robbing him blind.

Just a reminder of what their real records should look like....

Jermall Charlo's record is 32-0-0, it should be 29-2-1, or possibly even 29-3-0

    He clearly lost to...
    Austin Trout
    Matvey Korobov

At best the Derevyanchenko match was a draw, arguably a 115-113 loss.

Jermell Charlo's record is 35-1-1, it should be 32-5-0.

To add to his one official loss to Harrison.

He also should have lost to...
    Brian Carlos Castano
    Vanes Martirosyan
    Austin Trout
    Demetrius Hopkins

Thankfully his power bailed him out against Castano, Harrison and Jackson, otherwise he'd have probably had three more gifts on his ledger.

    Now mull that over.

Anyway, it's great that we got a conclusive outcome.

Jermell might be Undisputed, but he has at least a couple more interesting fights to make at the weight before moving up.

    Towering Inferno next, please.

Charlo clearly beat chenko. The fight wasn't a win for chenko nor was it a draw the Korobov fight was closer than that fight. He's undefeated.

Evil twin didn't lose to vanes Trout or hopkins. Now the first Castaño fight was razor close and charlo ran it back and stopped him. It's time to stop hating and give fighters their due when they win and prove you wrong.

Wait, I thought Jermall was evil twin. Has that been reappraised?

The irony is many of same people, and I have tons of experience dealing with them, will absolute crucify the likes of Loma and are just itching to rank their favs over him P4P because he suffered close/close and extremely controversial losses to way naturally bigger and heavier fighters whilst he's dared to be great like few others, much more so than their current favs have, is routinely giving away huge physical advantages that no other fighter in the top 10 is whilst campaigning in his third weight class, one he doesn't belong in, a division full of giants way bigger than him, and he's way more skilled than them, fought way more world champions and punchers in way less fights than they have, many of whom are again way bigger than him, and whilst fighting on the road without a single home judge or ref and the only reason many of their favs are still undefeated or don't have more Ls on their records is because the always/almost always have home advantage, home judges or both to bail them out and preserve their zeros or save them from suffering more defeats when it doesn't go their way

If Loma had their judges he'd still be undefeated and he should only have one legit loss at it is and if they had his they wouldn't be or would have multiple Ls.

I didn't watch the fight live I was at a BBQ but I didn't check my phone all day so when I got home I watched it. It was a great fight nice back and fourth evenly matched both landed big shots Charlo just out manned him in the end. I do think that neither guy is really elite you would think a guy with Charlo's credentials wouldn't struggle with a straight forward pressure guy like Castano. I think that the 154 pound division is getting stronger and Charlo will have some very tough mandatories with Tszyu and Fundora.

You can say I'm biased in my scoring, but @George Crowcroft @Badbot and @cuchulain scored it for SD, and @sasto @Serge @PinoyProdigy @Bustajay @ShovelHook @Power_tek and @IntentionalButt had it a draw. So for the most part, in the eyes of most objective scorers, SD did either just enough or edged it. So stop pretending it was a CLEAR victory, hell... even you and the majority of the people who scored it for him only had it 115-113 Charlo. As far as the Trout fight goes, hell... even one of the official judges had it a draw, as did @f1ght3rz I scored it 114-112 Trout. There's literally no debate that Jermall lost to Trout. As far as the Hopkins match, I vaguely even remember seeing it, the Lara-Angulo match on that card completely blew it out of my mind that night. But I do remember it being in the realm of draw/go either way. Face it, these two are the most overrated titlists in the sport and ey have many questionable decisions on their ledgers, and if they weren't so protected, they'd have multiple losses. P4P talents don't struggle as much as these two do. They're the definition of average.
