"He changed his name to Patrizio as a tribute to fellow Italian boxer Patrizio Oliva"

Similar case as Jersey Joe kind of.

You know what makes me sick? People who think they know the heart of a good woman. You know what really makes me sick? People who think they understand the mind of a serious man. Other things make me sick. Like the sickness you get when you think you know what happens when you mix the heart of a good woman and the mind of a serious man and that this is the illness of society's malevolence in and of its own self. Yeah, that's what makes me sick.

Okay, that was my mistake. I was replying to freckledjuggsncrookedplonkers4u's forum thread that I was reading, I thought. I am a moderator there and keep a lot of tabs open and get confused sometimes. But they were ganging up on me over there for whatever. McGrain knows how it is when you're in that position. It sucks. And not like the way as on a lot of pages over there. But different. Badly different.

I do not know. There is no nickname on wikipedia, and I can't access boxrec and many other sites.
Still, thanks for the information, and the nickname is completely realistic.

Zamora had El Toro (The Bull) and El Dado (The Dice).

The first two that I thought of were Carlos Ortiz and Rafael Marquez.
