How Great Is Lennox Lewis s Resume?

    LL's resume is up there with Tyson's, in my opinion. Not as great as Ali or Holyfield or Louis but next tier for sure with Holmes and Tyson.

    I believe...Lennox fought 10 future or former World Champions which ties Tyson and is one less than Holyfield and 4 less than Ali.

    Holyfield may have fought better fighters at heavyweight, but Lennox has the better heavyweight resume in terms of wins/losses imo.

    I'm not so sure about that. Holyfield has Foreman, Holmes, Bowe, Mercer, Tyson, Moorer, Ruiz, Rahman and only lost to the best with the Moorer loss being his worst in prime. Lennox has Ruddock, Tucker, Bruno, Morrison, Mercer, Holyfield, Tua, Rahman, Vitali and got starched by single shots to B level guys.

    It's close though. Holyfield fought everyone except Ruddock, Morrison and Tua. Lewis missed out on Bowe, Moorer, Foreman, Holmes, Byrd, Ruiz...I could go on but we all know they cant fight literally everyone in the division. Holyfield came close.

    It's a good debate that's been brought up before many times.

    He did. You can honestly look at Lennox thru out his fighting life and have no doubt s that he never feared any man.

    Holyfield was the smaller man and fought most of their shared opponents when the guys were fresher and closer to prime.

    It's really depends on what you prefer. Lewis has a cleaner resume but Holy's is deeper imo. Both ATGs, though I give Holy the edge because I think he was more exciting to watch.

    I think that's a pretty silly statement, majority here have gave Lewis plenty of respect. And have him either top 3 or top 5, I think that's the fairest praise Lewis should have.

    Ali beats him on having better opposition, and Louis beats him on longevity. Then it's a toss up between the likes of Holmes and a few others.

    I don't really see how much more praise, he can get than what's already been said.
