Who wins if they fight in Sept and how? GGG going up to challenge for the undisputed Super middleweight world title. How will Canelo handle it if things start to not go his way?
Canelo will be on more gear than ever now. No match will be made that has a potential back to back loss. The fight hasn’t been made and yet Weisfeld and his boys will have Canelo up after for the first 6 rounds. Canelo let it be known post Bivol fight - “I expect to score point's for avoiding punches and blocking”. GGG will be well aware of that and go for the stoppage. Against Ryota GGG was slow as molasses, predictable and his stamina has evaporated. Canelo pieces him up mid rounds as GGG won’t have the tank to defend himself. 4 unanswered punches and expect a stoppage. Canelo stops GGG this time and finally gets a W that he earned (as genuine as he can). If GGG gets on the gear too, that’s a different story…
How would he handle things when it isn't going his way? The way he always handles it when he gets beaten in the ring, by letting the judges win the fight for him. It's unlikely he would get schooled as much as against Bivol, so the judges will have enough to score it for him.
Why can't Golovkin fight like Bivol? He's always trying to knock out his opponents. He doesn't show much boxing skills and he doesn't care if he get hits a lot or not.
I'm telling you right now 40 year old slow Golovkin could still knock Canelo out. And I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he does so.
It will be a war, Golovkin should realise by now that he won’t win a decision against Canelo, so he’ll be going for the KO from the first bell.
I think it's an interesting fight at 168lb. yeah GGG took a while to get going in his last fight but he looked pretty good despite being slower. There's a reason why Canelo waited GGG out in the first place and that's because GGG even at 40 is a dangerous man. For GGG I think he will need to go in more aggresive as he ain't getting the result if goes to the judges. If it was at 160 I would be less interested but I think that little extra weight might benefit GGG more than Canelo who has looked a lot slower and his gas tank has been compromised.
Golovkin knows after 2 fights his chin will hold up not sure about the body because his been hurt by body shots in 2 fights following the canelo fight but with his chin and knowing he can't win on points think he will gamble like never before his could be his last great performance he could even retire after this fight
168 Golovkin knocks Canelo out. He knows he cant beat Clen on points. Go out with a bang and wreck Clen. The power of 168 GGG will be glorious.
Yawn!!!! Gg has fought nothing but sock puppets his entire career, then he drops a couple of close decisions to Canelo, and absolutely ducks every top middleweight for the next 4 years, and you all STILL want to see this fight???? You honestly wouldn't rather see either of these guys fight Charlo??
GGG older, slower, heavier - his stamina is no where like it used to be against Murata he was struggling at times but he's still tough with a massive punch and ground Murata down. Alvarez should find it easter to get his counter combinations going. If GGG had faster feet then we might see something happen otherwise it might be Canelos' first decisive win.
Canelo by TKO is the only outcome I can see at this point. Canelo brutalizes him (Disclaimer: I'm not a Canelo fanatic and don't like Golovkin, but I had Golovkin winning both 1 and 2)
Canelo will win again and this time I hope he knocks Lil g out. I actually don’t want it to happen as Canelo could be jailed assaulting the elderly.
