Guys, (all you Pacfans) it took Pac 9 rounds to KO David Diaz. Now Diaz is one brave n' tough little SOB and I'm a fan. But to do the same to Cotto, Margo, or DLH-Come on? You all have mad rights to mad fanfair for this truly great fighter of yours. The kid's ****in' awesome. But let's keep this within' the range of realism shall we.
UliUli is one of the biggest PAC hatter on this board. He finds ******ed post by a few idiots and uses it to fuel his own hate. ANy one with half a brain knows Pac ain't cut out for the higher weight. Fighting DLH is for money and nothing more. Can he win? He has a chance against an Oscar who is a shell of his former self but its a slim chance. Will he ever call out anyone else at that weight, HELL NO. So take UliUli PAC thread for what it is, his hate for PAC. Which he always claim is his hate for the fan and not PAC. Why not bash the idiot poster and leave the fighter out.
Im a Huge Pacman fan and not even from the Philipines but i want to honestly say that if he goes and fights any higher than Lightweight he might come unstuck. 135 is perfect weight to finish his career. With such names like Casamayor,Juan Diaz,Katsidis,Guzman and Nate theres plenty of big fights out there at 135 and he seems to like the weight. Also i want to point out there are some great Pac fans out there. We are not all idiots.
You are actually a big Pacquiao fan AND a big Kostya Tszyu fan. Do you believe that Pacquiao could beat KT at 140?
MMMMMM Great question. kg one of your best. Tszyu fantastic against Southpaws Pacman fanastic against Legends I think this would be a Classic a Castillo vs Corralles a Hagler vs Hearns. Picking between the two is so hard its like asking me to pick between Nirvana or Pearl Jam Or between Jessica Biel or Jessica Alba :good
KT actually seemed to do better against guys who tried to box him IMO (slick southpaws). This is one of those fights where I think if KT showed up and tried to brawl, he would lose. However, KT could outbox Pacquiao and did have the power to keep him at bay, which I believe is key here.
This is Pac at 140 we're talking about, facing a huge, extremely accurate puncher. One straight right on Pac coming in and the fight is over. How would Tszyu lose if he were to brawl? Pac's power/speed wouldn't be anything close to as effective as it was at 130 and he would be greatly affected by anything Tszyu connects with. I think this whole DLH-Pac madness is really a secret plan by Hatton's team to make Hatton-Pac seem like a real, competitive superfight. ****, compared to DLH-Pac it is.
KT's power was on the end of his punches. If Pacquiao was pressuring and smothering his power, then he loses that advantage. Like I said, he would need to box. Hatton smothered KT's power with pressure as well. Pacquiao can certainly pressure him. Effectively I think too. His power would have little effect on KT, but his speed would still be faster IMO than KT and in a brawl, Pacquiao may simply outwork him. I stand by that analysis. There are certain fighters who are bad style matchups. RJJ was a bad matchup for Ruiz and beat a top 5 HW in beating him. But RJJ could have and probably would have lost to one of any of the top 15 HWs in the world. KT is a 140 ATG, and Pacquiao is much smaller. But he may be a bad style matchup.
