Vitali couldn’t beat 2000 Byrd or 03 Fat lewis. Not sure that’s a good prediction.

Foreman beat the champ twice to become the man. Vitali never did so.

Was Foreman the best of either era he competed in, though?

Two names that Foreman had no interest in fighting.

I think he would beat Frazier by KO. Just not as fast.

    He crushes Norton.

Yes, he would equal or be better than Foreman overall

What does this have to do with the fact 03 Lewis was vastly inferior to 74 Ali?

Nothing. I wasn’t talking about Ali. Foreman got stopped in that fight btw.

Lenny was heavy yes but it’s not like leading up to this fight Lennox was looking worse off then he ever was besides an arrogant moment. Well in my opinion.

I’d favour the 2000s Lennox over a great deal of HWs Frazier and Norton would be carved up like a ham for one.

Lewis proved his capability in the ring that night against the would be heir and it’s literally his best win for a reason. Next to Fury I think Vitali is largely considered the greatest (H2H) HW since Lennox.

Vitali keeps being overrated, nothing unusual.

I think when you beat the man you’re by default “the best” even for a fleeting moment one has to acknowledge the accomplishment. Once a fighter wins the championship they usually go downward…who wants to train when you have money and things to do?

    although the topic is debatable

It's certainly an interesting debate. It might be that by the time Foreman got Frazier, Ali was able to beat either of them.

Norton throws a spanner in the works tho.
