The fix was almost in, but Bivol dominated Canelo so clearly they knew they'd be given jail time for giving Canelo the win
The sad reality is, they should have been given jail time if they called it a draw but they knew they wouldn't. Just look at Byrd in the Golovkin fight. She's still judging. What I hope this does though is put these judges on notice. People are watching. People know what these assholes are up to. Cheatham, Moretti and Weisfeld. What are we always reminded of before the big fights? These guys are the best. They have done so many championship fights, etc. They are corrupt through and through. They are sort of like what the Fed is to the financial community. The Fed governors are appointed by the banks. Go figure. This may even mean Canelo is going to lose some more fights in the future. Because the cat is kind of out of the bag.
He's spot on. It makes no sense to score it 4-0 after 4 for Clenelo. The fix was definitely in. Glad Bivol beat the little PED cheat up so theere was no way they can rob him.
Dat bicep doe! Bivol even had a small bruise after blocking so many punches. Also Canelo came close on so many missed punches. Maybe the judges were giving him partial credit. The announcers wet their pants every time Canelo threw a punch that was blocked or missed. The judges were as corrupt as can be and Bivol needed to nearly pitch a shutout to get a close decision. This should not surprise anyone who watches Canelo’s fights.
This is Teddy Atlas talking, but he does make really good points. At least Bivol did get the decision though either way.
Now I see why Canelo was trying to get close to Dmitrys head in the first four rounds. If he gets cut within those rounds, Canelo gets the win.
This is why Teddy was removed from commentary on ESPN. And replaced with Yes Men, Timothy Bradley and Andre Ward.
yet teddy said 3 maybe 4 to Canelo. and people here like to say "NO CANELO DIDNT WIN ONE!!!" I agree with what teddy said basically. 2 rounds in the first half canelo one round second half canelo 117-111 116-112 also very possible.
11-1 to 9-3 possible, with 9-3 being If you’re very generous. 4 rounds not really possible without looking for excuses to give canelo anything he didn’t get utterly dominated in.
At this point the dust settled, can boxing fans finally be happy and satisfied. I feel so many big fights now a days just **** fans off more than they should even when the right guy wins. Its rare fans can actually just be happy with a good performance and the right winner getting their hand raised.
