Every third question Bellow gets asked he answers it the same. “listen…….30 second pause with multiple deep breaths…..looks from side to side…..then gives a cheesy answer like he is somehow saying something he shouldn’t but literally reading from the Hearn playbook.
Another one that gets me… ‘A round of applause for both fighters please’ from the MC before he reads the decision. One thing if it’s been an actual war, but happens far too often. Not really a phrase but when the commentators talking about a rematch as soon as a fight has ended when there's no controversy or genuine need for a rematch "Would you like to see it again?"
Yes - this does my head in. Some of the other Diamante quirks (like repeating the surnames) I quite enjoy, but his over-acting to the point of climax, extending the long wait to start the fight after the usual crazy long entrances, is torture.
