I remember as a kid watching fighters like James Toney, Marco Antonio Barrera and a few others. Very artistic punchers. Pure in-ring beauty. Marvelous punchers. Extra points given for bringing out the full repertoire against top level opposition. A lot of fighters shelve the uppercuts, hooks, and combinations against top level competition because they are afraid of getting countered hard.
Hard to look past Canelo. Has every shot in the book and some interestong variations and some unique fights. Fury as well can do it all and switches it up on a per fight basis. Witness him digging Whyte to the body then bringing the uppercut in to close the show. Against Wlad it was frights and long jabs to win the fight. GGG. Hammer of jab, great left hooks to head and body and that weird high angle hook he throws. Not many use it or have any success with it.
It's Naoya Inoue and it isn't close. Dropped and/or KO'd guys with every punch in the book — right hand and left hand, upstairs and downstairs, going forward and moving back.
Roman Gonzalez even though hes past it its still a thing of beauty when he gets going. A true Master.
Fury, Usyk, Loma and Crawford. I used to think Canelo too but his fight against Bivol showed limitations that he was content hitting arms and shoulders.
