It isn't my #1 opponent for Clenelo but it's alright after a loss and beatdown. Some might expected some bum up next in the ring with the Beef man. We know Clenelo has no business at 175 so that weight class is out. Benavidez at 168 is a good fight for him. But he won't take that fight now. Fighting an old and weaker version of GGG makes sense as he already beat him once.
Speak for yourself, I want to see Golovkin vs. Alvarez again. Golovkin is still knocking MFer out. Oh and he's fighting Bivol again in the rematch after he faces Golovkin...calm the F down.
I want to see this fight I already have my flight and a 5 bedroom Airbnb reserved in Las Vegas I’m hosting a big family reunion and it is all centered around Canelo v GGG III I don’t care what losers like you believe and millions of boxing fans don’t care what you believe either If GGG gets knocked out, then so be it The event will be grand, my family’s experience will be grand, and it sucks for you that you fail to comprehend how other people may not agree with your lame ass perspective
Ggg called for this beating and so did alot of his fans. He will get the beating he and his fans asked for.
From a money and boxing spectacle perspective yes, and it isn't even close. More people know GGG and Canelo than they do Spence or especially Crawford. A more hardcore fan would say that Spence/Crawford is a better fight because both are elite and in their prime and fight at the same weight, but GGG/ Canelo is a bigger fight
Canelo needs a confidence booster and Benavidez is dangerous. A 40 year old big name checks all the boxes.
GGG is no stepping stone though. GGG is a career defining fight. He's not some walkover to give anyone a confidence boost. Canelo will be in for the fight of his life against GGG.
Might have the same face but in ring looks nothing like the GGG that gave Big Red fits for 24 rounds. Put down that good gas homie
