Even with GGG looking past his prime against Murata, he's still provides a much tougher test than the likes of Benevidez, Charlo and Andrade which are pointless fights to make. I had GGG winning both fights against Canelo however I think Canelo stops him now. I reckon Eddie will put Bivol against Callum Smith who is probably the best in the divison outside of Bivol and Beterbiev.
As long as that little twerp doesn't get a KO I'll be happy with whatever result. He doesn't deserve that. It'd be great if GGG could roll back the years one more time but I highly doubt it.
It would be great if the Bivol fight had taken more out of Canelo than anyone imagined so he ends up being the one who's more past it and GGG defies the odds and sparks him out. It would certainly be justice for the first two fights, especially the disgraceful robbery of the first. But I can't see it.
I think Benevidez provides much less of challenge than either BJS or Callum Smith did. I'd be surprised if even won a round off Canelo.
I have it 1-1 so far. Shame it’s taken this long as I don’t like GGGs odds now. He also looks a bit more susceptible to getting hurt to the body (his chin is pure granite) Rooting for GGG but see this as being quite a lopsided win for Canelo.
I’d absolutely love Golovkin to win. Canelo has had 4 years to agree to the third fight and has waited and waited.
