Callum Smith but I'd like to see this this fight as I think it would be entertaining. I suspect that they lining up Callum as Bivols next opponent considering Canello has opted for the GGG fight.
Callum Johnson's heart might not be in it anymore. He has had so many setbacks and he can only dine out on knocking down Beterbiev for so long before people get bored of it.
They probably sparred a lot. I think you would get a good feel for who was coming out on top in sparring by the interviews leading up to the fight. I doubt they would fight as they seem to have been mates in the same gym for years. I'm not as high on Callum Smith as a lot of people. I think Johnson would be a relatively big underdog and I'd bet on him
Pity it never happened. Johnson's dreadful luck with injuries and resulting inactivity means he never really got on the sort of roll that makes him look a real threat to Smith but it has the makings of a classic.
I fancied Johnson to beat Joe Smith Jnr if they had fought earlier this year. Too bad Callum Johnson got Covid and lost all his momentum all over again.
