I'm not a Tank fan in the slightest but - ad diaboli, suum debitum - this is a funny clip (have only seen the KO, not the whole fight, so no idea whether a rematch is remotely warranted, but it doesn't change anything even if so) - instant self-memeification, in the good way.

I had it 3-2 Rolly going into the sixth. It wasn't so much that Rolly was impressive, it was more that Tank just didn't throw much at all. Rolly simply jabbed him and threw a little more. It reminded me of Wilder vs Washington in a way. The puncher just didn't do anything for a few rounds, then woke up and laid the guy out. Even with Tank in lazy, low-output, coasting mode, he still landed the better shots and was more defensively responsible.

Rolly remains a complete tool and a nonentity at world level.

You won't find one instance of me taking Rolly all that seriously at world level. So this wasn't some big achievement for Tank, and if the action before the stoppage was as competitive as it sounds, woof, that's a bad look for making his case as being any better than Haney or Kingry.

 

And just like that Rolly Romero lives up to his name. Rolled around the canvas and that’s all she wrote. Great shot by Tank. His patience is something to appreciate, his boxing skills is really underrated.

Just admit you are biased and don’t like Tank for reasons outside of his boxing ability. If Loma put in Tank’s performances there will be no asterisks. Why do you and a few others keep making excuses for Josh Taylor against Caterall? If JT had any pride he would rematch Caterall and beat him up bad in a rematch but he clearly does not fancy. The excuses being made such as bad camp, bad weight cut, outgrowing 140 pounds is all BS. The real point you have missed is he is going backwards as a fighter under his young trainer Ben Davidson who is ****ing him up.
