    It's a mixture. One can beat the other, only to lose to one s lost to the guy he's just beat..? :eusa_doh:I think.

    Yes I’m aware. Norton vs young was not FOR the title.

    I suppose that Foreman was the best in the world on the day he retired, even though his recent results would not suggest it.

    After that I guess it was Ken Norton, though not in any very clear cut sense.

    I’ll go with jimmy young. I really don’t care much what the judges say when I see what’s going on with my own eyes. But what a group of boxers we had in that time period, young, Norton, shavers, Holmes coming up, Frazier, Lyle, foreman, to name some. Was an exciting time in boxing in all the weight classes. I wish we could have had a few more yrs of those guys fighting each other

    Actually solid point on 76 and Foreman ... talk about styles ... I like Norton over Ali, Foreman over Norton and still Ali over Foreman ..
