Good match up, good to see Hunter fight some one with a pulse again. Hunter has looked awful recently, hopefully facing someone decent like Fury will see a more motivated Hunter this time out.

Fury's the underdog here, he's a decent fighter but unless Hunter shows up out of shape and unmotivated again I think he'll again find himself losing a decision.

A bigger man would have reached out to his young cousin by now.

Clearly not a bum, he moves really well for his size, has a great chin and a good gas tank.
The problem is that he can't throw a right hand with proper form to save his life and has no real power. He's one of those guys who can give everyone a hard time and will be remembered more for the fights he lost.

No idea, Hughie vs Wach turned out to be a lot more fun that I expected.

He's tried to be more aggressive in some fights and put it on opponents more in recent performances. But his biggest issue for me is his lack of counter punching. He looks good when he dictates the fight, gets off first and moves off then repeats. But when he steps up and opponents really pressure him and he's then forced to be purely defensive, the lack of counters and power means he has nothing to retake control of a fight and ends up having the fight dictated to him as he can only fight one way and then loses a decision.

He would also do a lot better if he learned to clinch and maul opponents after throwing so he can't be countered after throwing, instead he just backs up and so ends up backing up too much in fights and without the ability to counter he can't win a fight when being pushed back all the time.

Hunter vs hughie fury - World title eliminator.

    What an absolute joke.

Decent fight though to be fair.

    So basically

    Dubois vs Bryan
    Fury vs Hunter

Whoever is the victor out of these four will become mandatory....

    Jesus.

"He just can't punch," Hunter said of Fury, speaking to Sky Sports. "He's good, I think he's a decent boxer, he's got some decent skills, he's tall, he's long, he comes from the Fury family.

"The best thing we can say is he comes from a Fury family, a fighting family. That's the best thing I can see. I don't think he's a great puncher, when you say technical boxer that's what I see, it means he's just not a puncher.

"I'm excited to be over in England and display my skills. We're going to knock them [the Furys] down one by one, Hughie first. He's in the way, I'm going for the belts and anyone in my way I've got to run them over. We know he can fight. Does he have the skills and determination to compete with me? I don't think so. Only one way to find out."

Big talk from The Bounty Hunter. He's wrong to underestimate Hughie 4.0's slickness and power though. Hope it's just talk because he looked terrible last time out and was clearly nowhere near his best. I think it is just pre-fight banter and he will be back to his best for this one.

Hughie fought a better version of Povetkin and he literally barely blinked after Povetkin walked him into some perfect right hand bombs which were KO shots not mere KD ones

But Hunter possesses underrated power and a very stout beard himself and let's not forget he slayed the beastly giant Bakole who is also, like Fury, packing iron mandible section

Definitely seeing big parallels with Ali vs Cooper and this one albeit Hughie has a much better chin than Cooper and doesn't possess Cooper's murderous left hook
