What do you think? Does the juggernaut have what it takes to become a World Champ? With Fury supposedly retiring, will Joyce be the next man to rule the division?

Joyce is currently 36 years old, with a record of 13 wins from 13 fights, 12 coming from KOs. He won silver medal at Rio 2016. His notable wins so far include Stiverne, Ustinov, Jennings, Dubois and Takam.

He's running out of time. Joyce is such a nice bloke and I hope he gets his shot but he ain't beating Fury (he hasn't retired let's be real) or Usyk.

He's far more athletic than his slow speed suggests that's for sure. I don't think the age is going to be an issue. Just needs to get busier, Parker is the perfect fight for him at this juncture I'd say.

It's just a pity about his age. Otherwise I'd say yes but I'm probably going with a 40% chance because of his age.

Ortiz, breazeale,Washington, molina, duhaupas aren’t nothing to shout about either so there’s not much in it imo.

He might do a Foreman. If any heavy can come back at a late age and win a world title other than Foreman, it's Joyce.

Ortiz, albeit a very old one, is better than Jennings and Dubois.

I can't see him beating Usyk or in the unlikely scenario that AJ causes an upset, I don't like his odds against AJ either (although I'd love to see Joyce beat either of them).

Only way I see Joyce becoming WC is if the winner of Usyk vs AJ vacates the WBO title for Joyce to fight the vacant titlw. Or in the instance Fury retires and vacates the WBC title and he fights someone like Wilder for vacant WBC (who heavily favour Joyce to beat, but there's no way Wilder fight Joyce in a voluntary fight).

I think Dubois goes on to prove to be much better than Ortiz and once he retires will have an more impressive record than Ortiz (its not hard, his only notable wins are Jennings and Martin).

Has ability, excellent stamina, granite chin and some heavy hands. That can take you a long way but he's slow and no spring chicken. He
needs 2 big wins and quick. A win over Wilder or Ruiz type opponent would give his career a shot in the arm.
