Kambosos offered absolutely nothing to make me think he would do anything whatsoever. Almost everything he threw was smothered.
The only thing that will be interesting about the rematch is to see whether it will be a decision win or stoppage win for Haney.
Haney might get the corner stops fight between rounds kind of thing, but even that seems very unlikely.
If you are Kambosos though, the rematch would be his best business decision I guess. He is going nowhere and maybe only a revenge fight with Teo could be the only other relevant fight he gets from here on out. Teo just went up to 140 though so it seems unlikely.
The problem is that Kambosos has no other money fights. He got his cookies taken on his own continent and now Haney is the only relevant bout he can get.
Kambosos will trigger the rematch clause. It's going to be another schooling by Haney, but it doesn't matter. Kambosos is going to get another big paycheck before his earning potential dries up.

No point honestly, but it’s his decision. Nothing wrong with wanting to redeem yourself, even if his chances are slim.
Kambosos only hope in a rematch is going all out attack and going for the KO which I thought he should have done in this fight but didn't.
Kambosos with the right gameplan can give Haney a hard night but the gap in ability is too wide for him to win unless the judges are also in on the gameplan
He needs to win or his pretty much got no choice but come back to Australia and con the public against bums like Tim Tszyu has been doing for the past 3 years which would pay him decently.
The key will be to figure out how to make a fight that has the right balance of winnability vs payout. He's a decently big guy at 135, maybe he could go to 140. Then there are a million ESPN guys like Jose Ramirez, Chon, Pedraza, Lopez rematch, etc, etc.
Kambosos is going to exercise this rematch clause because he doesn't really have any other good options. I wish this wasn't the case but it is. I want Haney-tank or Haney-loma
