Starched by a 43 year old never-was. Now that's one extra super-fragile mandible!!

I don't think that's right. I'm not defending Fa as a fighter, mind you, but he's a HW who got hit on the side of the head. The issue isn't his chin; it's his atrocious defense.

That punch would have stopped a lot of fighters.

But Fa's strategy of standing in front of Browne motionless and just kind of pawing at him with his jab - was a whole new level of stupid.

The back of the cranium seems to be the best place to hit heavyweights.

A shot behind the ear has nothing to do with chin or punch resistance.

Stupid topic. As usual when Zakman opens a thread.

A 44 year old Dominick Guinn had already dropped him badly in 2019, the guy was always a KO waiting to happen when he faced a decent puncher.

Looked like a new born Bambi trying to get to it's feet.

There's no evidence for that assertion, none at all, and no way to prove it.

What we do know is that Fa's chin is SO fragile that he can't remain vertical against washed up fringe contenders like Brown.

Chins matter in boxing. And, it's pretty clear from the evidence that Junior Fa doesn't have the mandible to compete even at the fringe level.

Browne always had very good power and you have to respect that which Fa clearly didn't.

Funny since he didn’t take a shot to the chin. Both shots were to the back left side of his head.

I thought it was a punch to the back of the head from my vantage point.

I had no idea the mandible was located directly on the back of the head. Hmm.
Ironically after losing to Gallen Browne whined incessantly about illegal blows to the back of his head. Looks like his gameplan coming back was to win in that very fashion. Interesting. Absolutely horrific job by the ref.

Yeah, it was pretty clear that his fragile whiskers had been utterly shattered. Only the ref's intervention prevented Fa from taking a long canvas nap.

Fa came to the ring smiling like a reincarnated Lance Goofi Whitaker, it wasn't a good sign
