Yes but it would be interesting to see tyhe stats on which on tyhem landedc more shots in world title fights, most of the shots Kalambay landed were jabs and he was quite negative in the ring too.

Benn admitted he was green and learned from his losses to WAtson and Eubank, he said Jimmy Tibbs improved his vastly when he became his trainer, he also said all his corner kept saying during his fight with Watson was "steam him" Benn went on to punch himself out in that fight.

Ok. But I would still take middleweight and supermiddleweight Benn over middleweight and supermiddleweight Graham any day.

Graham was way past it at super-middle and started his career at 154.

I was a huge fan of Tony's too. I'm glad they didn't fight.

Boxing, generally! One time we met in particular was at the Bruno-Witherspoon fight at Wembley Stadium in July 86 where we spoke about that evening's main event. Other occasions at the Royal Albert Hall & Wembley Arena...generally conversations like "who will win tonight" & "when are you fighting next?"

The sort of stuff you talk about when you meet & recognise a famous fighter.

Yes I did Stevie. Nasty atmosphere that night, all the ICF boys were out in force, though some of them were doing the security! Poacher turned gamekeeper...it was a good job Kaylor won, it would have been really nasty had he lost...

I also went to the Graham-Kaylor fight where a lot of the West Ham boys were out in force (I am a West Ham fan but not a hoolie); Graham outclassed Kaylor pretty badly so there was no real reason (excuse?) for crowd trouble.
