How would F. Mayweather in his prime have fared against any of the Four King`s title opponents?

Hagler`s reach was only 3 inches smaller than Tommy`s and his jab was better than any fighter jab that Floyd ever faced.

Leonard hit far harder than Floyd, his KO rate at welter is far higher and Floyd nevder proved he could stop fighters at 154 let alone at 160-168 or 175.

Duran would have destroyed Floyd, Benitez was two inches taller than Floyd but Floyd would have a 2 inch reach advantage.

Those 3 inches make a lot of difference. So does Tommy's height, which makes him harder to hit than Marvin.
Also, although Marvin is among my favorite fighters, his jab was never his main asset.

It's 50:50 against Duran, but I favor Mayweather to win on points. Boring, but effective.

Agreed. But I never said FMJ would KO anyone. He wins on points as usual.

I agree but who is the fighter with the longest reach that Floyd could have beaten?

Hard to say, don't know the exact reach for all the boxers.
But IMO he beats Leonard, who has a better reach. De La Hoya probably had a similar reach to Leonard.

    All day long?

    Based on…?

Floyd would have done nothing if Ray had’ve stepped on the pedal and fought him aggressively.

    It’s not reality.

It’s also not always who the best fighter is.

It’s how they match up on the night stylistically.

They both match up equally in terms of height and reach.

They both match up equally for speed and skills at the weight. Floyd was better defensively, but Ray was better offensively, and especially at WW and above.

What separates them, is that Ray was stronger, with much more firepower.

Ray was also mentally stronger than Floyd.

A boxing match between them would have been good to see. But Ray wouldn’t have respected Floyd’s power. Floyd was a safety first fighter with bad hands at WW and above.

A boxing match, feint for feint would have been good, with 2 technicians playing chess. But again, as soon as Ray had become aggressive, where he’d have turned a chess match into a shootout, Floyd’s offense would instantly have been nullified whilst he’d have covered up and got on his bike and into a defensive shell.

Floyd would not have thrown combinations and traded leather with Ray in an aggressive manner.

Ray had the plan B that Floyd didn’t possess.

Floyd was in his prime at the lower weights.

Floyd has never seen anyone the calibre of Leonard before. Not ever.

Floyd never fought or beat a true great whilst they were prime.

Stating that Floyd would have won all day long is just fantasy nonsense which isn’t based on anything realistic.

Ray would have been a significant favourite.

Ray fought as high as SMW.

Ray knocked guys out at SMW.

Floyd was not vastly superior offensively.

    More proven how?

Again, he never saw a Hearns, Benitez, Duran or Marvin in his entire career.

    He fought lesser opponents.

So how the hell can he have been more proven?

Everything you write on the subject is fantasy nonsense.

    As usual?

There’d have been nothing usual about fighting Leonard.

    Wins on points, how?

What if Ray had’ve fought him aggressively?

    Delusional.

A Mayweather/Leonard fight in each other’s prime would’ve been a sight. Impossible to predict who would’ve won. I would give the slimmest of edges to Floyd. Can’t explain why.

I think mayweather was starting to get up in age once he reached the sort of weight(s) that those guys fought at. Floyd vs Duran might have been a good match at lightweight
