As in 2020, another male category will jump to add a female one. We will therefore end up with seven categories for men and six for women. Remember that in Rio, for example, there were ten men and three women. This time it's the middleweights who are hurt with a jump of 71 to 80 kilos which is even worse than in the UFC. https://www.lequipe.fr/Boxe/Actuali...-en-boxe-aux-jeux-olympiques-de-paris/1326680 https://www.lequipe.fr/Boxe/Actualites/Le-casse-tete-des-categories-olympiques/1338426
Olympics is nothing special any longer. It's all Politics and Corruptions by IOC headed by that evil CCP-Controlled Thomas Bach.
Doesn’t matter as men can identify as "women". So actually men now have 13 weightclasses at the Olympics, and 6 of them are very easy to medal in.
The Olympics were a great launching pad for gold medalists. Surely Golovkin would have had a better start to his career if he had won the gold.
There's a 165lbs category for women? Making weight is going to mean slamming oreos so they don't slip below the WW limit after all the training.
Is there a logical reason for that? I mean i have nothing against another weight category for W but why remove one of the Ms? Sounds completly ******ed.
