    Exactly.. I'm not saying he was primitive, someone else said he was too primitive for their taste.. I don't find anything primitive about Duran.

    What a 4 some!! What an exciting era! There were other fights that they had besides each other. Benetiz, Cuevas, Mugabi, Hamsho etc. There was another boxer during that era who could have been just as great. Tony Ayala but he went to prison just before his bout with Duran.

    Duran out of this lot. But none of them are real favourites, though I enjoy most of the fights and appreciate the greatness that they all were at their best.

    hagler. he was all business no nonsense and he was a great guy

    SRL was good but he was a prima donna. i like duran but wasnt he on the jerk side a bit? talked a lot of immature trash? and hearns was great to but hagler was better and more of the hard working blue collar type.
