Even if you think Pac beats Floyd at any point- and I don't- this is the epitome of a bad faith argument. Oscar was even more washed up, and weight drained, when he met Pac. Mosley was even farther past his prime, and what was left of it probably was lost in the ten rounds he spent being used as a speedball after being able to badly rock Mayweather in the second. I thought Floyd beat JLC both times, but regardless of your opinion on the scorecard, there's no way to know how Pac would have fared against Castillo at lightweight given that he never faced anyone all that great at 135lbs. David Diaz was maybe the fourth best lightweight in the world when Pac faced him. Jesus. The mind reels.

Wtf does this have to do with pac turning down a prime pbf back in 2009 because of random blood testing with no cutoffs?? They didn't want the fight pulled out of talks and fought clottey. Those are facts and is what happened anything else is a lie.
The fact that Floyd refused the gold standard in testing (VADA), the $5 million dollar dirty test penalty, and then was caught using illegal IV fluids, PROVES BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT that it was NEVER about drug testing and ALL ABOUT RISK MANAGEMENT. He didn't want that smoke w/ a prime Pac. Even Ray Charles can see this.
Pac was afraid of needles, didn't ya know. He wasn't afraid of fighting Floyd. Floyd was afraid of fighting Pac though. Floyd wanted Pac poked and prodded in order to fight. Pac didn't want to be poked full of needles. Needles and blood made Pac queasy and he had nightmares about needles that he was stuck with before he fought Morales the first time which is why he believes he lost that fight.
You seem awfully concerned with my opinions about Floyd, sir. At present, your opinions don't register strongly enough with me to say the same of you...But hey, who knows, maybe they will in the future. Either way, the take I quoted sucked and I don't feel the least bit guilty about calling it out.
You always try to look neutral and unbiased when it comes to Floyd but youre anything but it at the end of the day youre another Floyd fanboy who seems to be embarrassed to be one. Just be yourself embrace your fanboyism. All hail TBE lol...
This comment is dumb, Pacquiao fought De La Hoya & Mosley 12-18 months after Mayweather did and your saying they were already shot when they fought Mayweather? Thats hardly a pro pacquiao comment if thats what you were trying to achieve Mayweather fought Oscar at 154, Pacquaio drained him down to 145. Im pretty certain Oscar had not fought below 147 since 1996, could be mistaken. Thats 12 years apart from that Pacquiao fight
The reason DLH was shot against Pac but not against Floyd was because he was drained to a corpse fighting Pac at a full weight class below the weight he fought Floyd at. Against Floyd DLH was well past his best, but was fighting at his normal weight, he wasn't drained or unhealthy like he was against Pac, so he was competitive against Floyd. Against Pac, though DLH was a shell of himself, drained to a corpse at 147. Big difference. As for Mosley, you can make the same argument that fans make about Canelo, many said Mosley was shot when Canelo fought him, but didn't say he was shot when Pac fought him. Mosley only fought Canelo a year after Pac fought Mosley, which was a year after Mosley fought Floyd. How much different does a year make? Was Mosley about the same fighter he was vs Floyd, vs Pac and vs Canelo? Each easily beat Mosley on the cards but the difference is Mosley caught Floyd and had him wobbled, while he couldn't do that to Pac or Canelo.
Oh....There you are, bandeedo. Was wondering where you were. I've always been of the opinion that Floyd's one of the twenty five best to ever lace up gloves. Don't recall ever saying otherwise. There were some asterisks on his resume, but they don't detract too much from his all time legacy. More of a Cotto fanboy, tbh....But, let's face it. You already knew that about me, didn't you?
Pac definitively won the 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th. So realistically, the fight should be no closer than 116-112 Mayweather on everyone's scorecards. With 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 10th all being close. So the mere fact that an unhealthy Pacman was able to take 4 rounds off of a healthy Mayweather, and come damn close to shading a few others. Means the assertion this thread is making is a faulty one. In 10 out of 10 fights, it's a more than logical argument that Pacquiao would do enough to nick a handful of them.
