George Forman coming back 20 years later and winning the heavyweight championship has NO equal ever.

    Louis with relative ease.

All great except for Jones which was due to PEDs. Disgraceful that he was busted and they did nothing about it.

You took all the hard work out for me. Nice list. The only interchange I could entertain would be Marciano to # 3 and Tyson to # 4.

Oh, and maybe cut Jones from the list altogether. That’s too much of a yawning quality gap between # 4 and # 5. Not in the same class as those above. LOL.

Personally I think had Roy stayed around at Heavyweight and unified the title by beating Lennox Lewis he would have been many peoples choice as greatest achievement. But whatever else Roy was, he wasn’t suicidal haha!

Well, if he'd beaten Lewis, I would've been duly awestruck and deferential to Mr Jones. Beating Ruiz? Hmmm, not so much. LOL.

You know the worst thing (or best depending on how you look at it) about the Ruiz/Jones fight…Jones had already started slowing down by this time, it had been noticed. But he was still far too quick for the slow Ruiz. If he would have carried on at Heavyweight in a crazy bid to unify the titles, Lewis would have caught him and brutally KO’d him. It would have been a massacre and I say this as a big RJJ fan

    1. Louis
    2. Marciano
    3. Foreman
    4. Roy
    5. Tyson

I gotta say that I don't rate Tyson's very highly because although it was impressive how he became a champ at 20 it is also true that it was accomplished by defeating a very scared amd already half beaten Spinks; thus Tyson's feat loses some shine in my eyes...

I’m not necessarily a personalised Roy fan but always remain objective.

As it was, the sequence of KOs including and following the Tarver rematch were very sad and disturbing to see. In a few, Roy went down as chillingly as did Big John Tate vs Weaver and then Berbick.

It’s not nice to see fighters like Roy lose their crucial edges in speed and reflex, reducing them to mere mortals, so to speak, making them much more vulnerable to far lesser pugs.

All great achievements actually. But the one that's not gonna be beat imo, is Louis defending the one lineal title so many times.
    I'll go
    Louis
    Tyson
    Foreman/Marciano
    Jones
