    Can fight on the backfoot

Very methodical in how he breaks down opponents

Good punch selections, throws them in good angles

Can move laterlly if he wants to to create space to move into his most lethal range (mid-range)

Clubbing power, doesn't have to be direct with the shots, they just hurt regardless.

Good body puncher, mixes them up well

    Well known combination puncher

Good recuperative abilities as seen when Callum Johnson got him, as seen by Tito Trinidad when he ever got dropped, he would instantly take out his opponent.

At age 37, he's on his way to ATG 175lb status with a couple of extra wins over Bivol and 2 other light heavyweight provided he finishes them all before he moves up Cruiserweight/Heavyweight

He will be an excellent win for Bivols path to ATG status

All of Beterbiev's elite achievements will be absorbed right into Bivols resume

He is my p4p #2 and has been since the Gvozdyk destruction. Simply the most violent in ring force I've seen since a prime Manny Pacquiao at Featherweight.

Amateur pedigree counts for something! This is exactly why I knew Artur was the goods!

Kind of like Golovkin did to Canelo in fight 2, boxing beautifully of the backfoot.

He feet were moving very quickly. It was impressive for sure. Would’ve been interesting to see how long he could maintain it.

Who said he can't box on the backfoot?

I think it's arguable that Gvodzyk is a better boxer than Bivol. His footwork is very good. And he is a natural LHW. Bivol is a SMW and Beterbiev is a huge LHW.

I think its pretty obvious Bivols handlers have been protecting him from Beterbiev

Bivol has what it takes to go the distance and win a decision. He is disciplined, active, efficient, accurate and moves well. The only thing I dislike about Bivol is his punch selection; he never throws uppercuts - and he is a small size LHW. Beterbiev will eat shots, not KO punches, but Bivol will earn respect at the least. I think he wins a decision.

It's going to be funny when Bivol has to put the forum in check again. Gvozdyk is not and never was better than Bivol.

He will tame Beterbiev and prove everyone wrong (again)

Gvozdyk had a lot of good moments against Beterbiev, but he decided to trade punches with him at some point. Bivol can duplicate some of what Gvozdyk did while staying disciplined for 12 rounds. Styles make fight : Bivol is the guy who can beat Beterbiev. He is faster and composed.

Exactly. Summed it up perfectly. The over the top Beterbiev fans aren't ready for what Bivol will bring to the table.

And then when Bivol wins they'll discredit him and call Beterbiev an old man

What will Bivol potshots do to Beterbiev? He got buzzed heavily by Smith Jr after round 11.

The wont do anything but score points and thats all he needs to do. Beterbiev throws a good jab, lead right, and hook to the body at range but when he actually wants to throw combinations he needs you to be stationary, lay on the ropes or trade with him. We saw this against Marcus Browne. Beterbiev isn't good at counterpunching over a jab, and combinations punches are short, unlike Smiths, which isn't good against someone who can dictate distance excellently and stay mobile like Bivol. Beterbiev also likes to lunge in unexpectedly close distance rapidly. Bivol will see this coming a mile away

Bivol beats him imo. Yeah i could get it wrong, but i am FAR more confident that Bivol beats him now that I've rewatched Beterbiev vs Smith, Gvozdyk, and Browne

    You're over rating Bivol badly

What does Bivol have that Beterbiev has not seen in the Russian amateur division when he went 295-5? It's the same basic style over and over again.

Nothing. That's what. He couldn't put a naturally smaller Canelo down and has not had a KO win for FIVE years man.
