Even if Opetata goes on to lose, it isn't the end for him. He'll come again and is young enough to make another title push. He'll learn a lot more out of this fight win or lose than what he would fighting another journeyman.
Yep I fully expect Briedis to beat him I actually think that Briedis is one of the most underrated fighters in the world. He is a bit past his best but he is good all round. Good skills, good power and a good chin. But I agree this is probably the best time for Opetaia to fight him it is in his home town I think Briedis is 37 so he could be getting him at the right time but I just don't see it. Like you said even if Opetaia loses he will gain great experience as I don't expect Briedis to just blow him out in a couple of rounds I think it will be a late stoppage win for Briedis.
Jai really going into the unknown here babs. We know he is an excellent talent but hasn't been able to showcase it against a high level of opposition. Breidis has been there done that with some the best fighters in the world. I mean some people were very critical of the way Mick Katsidis jumped from domestic level to world level. But his handlers looked at it differently saying you want to get your fighter to the top via the path of least resistance. He showed he could make the jump, hopefully Jai can too.
Nikita Tszyu v Ben Horn is on July 20th at the Horden Pavilion Sydney bahahahahaha PPV I believe bahahahahaha
Did anyone see Horn-Kite? I watched that card on delay and not sure if it was televised. Icertainly didn't see it. I thought Horn would have been toweled up there but he made the rounds and scores seemed kind of close.
Good christ. This has got to stop. Not a bad fight at all and I understand they can use their names to sell it. Horn's early career was a disaster but he has managed to turn it around somewhat. But PPV? This content is protected
You never what Breidis might turn up, he can be brilliant but other times he hasn't looked good at all.
