Out of interest, where would Browne rank on Dubois resume, in your opinion?

Despite the paper belt (peeled off a proper tomato can), I can't help but see Dubois as still very much an "up-and-coming heavyweight" - his best wins aren't overly impressive and his attempt to take a bigger step up resulted in him being cruised through by a Joyce who didn't even need to get into second gear.

Maybe I'm missing something, but this doesn't seem like a mismatch or an inappropriate fight to me.

Browne should have realised he needs to avoid any sort of puncher when he was KOed by Dave Allen.

It's not a terrible fight but Dubois should walk through Browne despite not looking amazing upto this point.

Nathan Gorman would destroy Browne. DD should be fighting a real contender, or at the very least someone like Chisora.

Browne got knocked out early by Dave Allen and Paul Gallen. Gallen is useless. This is a mismatch.

Remind me who Dubois has beaten that's significantly better?

Browne's and old donkey, but IMHO Dubois hasn't done very much yet and has a LOT to learn (despite having good physical attributes and clear potential) - I see fights like this as earning his stripes, it's not like Browne is a big step down from dross like Trevor Bryan, is it?

Browne is heavy handed but is slower than a slow thing on a slow day in slow land.
DD smashes him quicker than he did Bryan..

Brownie v Zhang or kownacki more realistic.

I think Gorman would stop Browne and Bryan would have a decent chance of beating him too.

It's a good fight for Dubois to take though at this stage, he shouldn't go straight to world level which Warren seems to want.

Not convinced TBH - to each their own but I'm struggling to think of too many people that Bryan would beat in the shape he turned up in for Dubois.

Gorman maybe, I haven't really paid him much attention to be truthful.

Fundamentally we agree though - this is the kind of fight for Dubois to earn his stripes and learn a few lessons without (hopefully) being completely ruined in the process.

Browne wants a payday and this is probs the best option for him..

Won't get it though given he still can punch "pretty" hard and DDD seems to like to defend with his head..

I am hoping that Lucas Browne gets the call to fight McKean on the Aussie Matchroom show in September.

Browne will be looking to cash in on his surprise KO win over Fa, after everyone had wrote him off as shot.

Dubois wouldn’t gain anything from this fight, he would stop Browne easily in the first round. I think the best option for Browne would be that fight against Parker. It could be PPV in Australia.

The Parker fight would also at least go 4-5 rounds as Parker only fights for 1 minute of every round.
