I think that these 2 victories were both Morales & MABs greatest wins (except vs each other.)

Both Naseem & Pacquiao were stronger punchers & favourite 2 win vs the mexican legends but the mexicans showed their class by putting in a performance for the ages.....

Hamed was undefeated were as Pacquiao wasnt.
Barrera was at his peak were as morales showed signs of wear going into the bout.
Barrera win more rds vs naz than morales did vs pac, although both wins were clear enough.
Pacquiao is & will go down as a better fighter than hamed.
Dont forget Pac destroyed barrera, that was a lot mentally for erik to overcome after the 3rd MAB fight.

Everything considered, I lean towards Morales victory over Pac, also think about this...... I can see Morales beating Naseem of 2001 before I can see Barrera beating the Pac of 2005.

    :good

Erik Morales over Pacquiao. Heart, boxing skills, bravado, machismo. Morales showed there he was really a bad-ass.

The moment you have to see in that great fight: Morales shifting to a southpaw stance during the 12th round. Do I need to say more?

    Barrera/Hamed

    Barrera was a 4 to 1 underdog

Morales was just a slight underdog against Pac

That was with the bookies, whats YOUR opinion because Naz wasnt a 4-1 fav in MY mind.

I kinda thought both fights would be really close but with the power of naz & pac + erik looking a bit slower going into the pac fight, I knew it was gonna take a great effort & he delivered.

Both morales & barrera used their superior boxing skills to edge ahead in rds but the big difference was morales traded with pac in spells & beat him his own way too, MAB stayed safe for the most part.... morales says he fights for the people & I believe that 100%.

    Appreciated it.:thumbsup

I can see the MAB victory as OK as well but the manner that EM got this victory was just simply impressive. You can't just trade shots with Pac without giving a lot of room for error, but he showed there his underrated boxing skills, as he masterfully moved in and out of Pac's range to unleashed his jab and his straight righ, plus he never showed frustration and even challenged Pac to a lot of exchanges. I think no one who watched it was disappointed with their performance.

And he was not really favored against Pac, either.

Morales vs Pac by a mile, MAB just outboxed Naz but El Terrible OUTFOUGHT Pacman, which was much more difficult.

Also doubts remain over how great Hamed actually was, whereas few question MP.

MAB-Hamed. The former had put that swashbuckling egotist out into oblivion for good. That alone has the boxing world eternally indebted to MAB.:yep

Let's not forget that light weight fighters today are also indebted to Hamed for raising the awareness (and more importantly, the purses) for smaller fighters in general. Even though he was a jackass, he was good for the sport :good

    Excellent question.
Barrera was awesome, in that he won pretty much every round IMO, and gave a boxing lesson to NAZ.

In fact, he opened NAZ's who career open to question, so definitive was the victory. By that I mean, did Naz just look great bowling over, overmatched opponents??

Morales victory to me was also magnificent, kind of the last hurrah of an aging warrior, and a genuine victory over an ATG.

Id have to pick Morales, as we know beyond question how good Pac is, he's beaten top, top fighters, something Naz didnt.
