No he wasn't. I don't like Canelo, but he isn't afraid of anybody and certainly not an opponent he faced twice. The only thing he might be nervous about is the fact he's coming off a loss and taking on a relatively dangerous veteran whose had plenty of time to study Canelo.

Clenelo is going to beat the geriatric worn-out GGG and it won't be close. GGG is not the GGG from 2015 and unlike Bivol, he is limited in his movement. Clenelo will be well fed on Mexican meat and at his disposal, corrupt judges. GGG will suffer the same fate as Kovalev.

This is going to be a serious fight. Both obviously hate each other. Watched senpai’s video with GGG, never heard GGG to speak in that manner, I would say he was calm but quite pissed.
It’s usually a good indicator of how serious a guy is about coming to win. Is what I’ve noticed through the years.
Canelo is fighting a true fighter this time out. I doubt Canelo will run thru GGG. Canelo was lucky to get a draw and majority decision over GGG and he knows it. Canelo is whistling thru the graveyard.
GGG is such a gangster. He never looks intimidating or imposing normally but he looks genuinely scary and as cold as ice during stare downs, especially the ones with Clenelo. He just stands there staring into your soul like a dead-eyed psychopath with zero trace of emotion, nerves or fear.
Clenelo was trying his best to look mean and intimidating and trying to see traces of self-doubt and fear in GGG's eyes but he saw nothing and he started to doubt himself at that moment. Don't forget that he should be 0-3 against Eurasian heat and he knows the only reason he isn't is because of corruption. Deep down he knows that Eurasian heat is too much heat for him to deal with he's not equipped to do so with his ginger genetics.
