Seems like it, especially with him going on his phone by calling Usyk a Steroid user out of nowhere without any proof how ironic, while just a few week's prior he was happily smiling taking pic's with Usyk during the Top Rank show, Rattled? Shook? Must be something to that affect where it got him declaring his retirement,

Where in actuality he was the one who failed the Drug Test & got caught himself, though almost 99% media/boxing don't like bringing that up or even acknowledging that it happened.

It's about what deal presents itself.

The best deal for Fury is AJ wins (really easy fight) and it realistically could present £100m. Fury will roll out of bed for that. £30m for Whyte was easy money, AJ is the same.

The worst deal for Fury is Usyk destroys AJ even worse AND the Saudi's aren't willing to offer £100m+ - BECAUSE Fury could still fight the losing AJ possibly for MORE money than Usyk!

Boxing really is a business. Sadly for Usyk he's not a marketing wet dream because casuals are disgusting creatures who like muscles and hypejobs. Fury & Usyk are some of the best characters in boxing history.

Usyks problem is that he doesnt speak English.
The guy has everything to be a star but that.

Fury's problem until recently is that he was fat with an unappealing style.

Casuals fawn over a guy like AJ.
Best example of that is the shoot with Floyd.
ATG Floyd was made to look like a manlet hanger on next to AJ.

Luckily for Fury its changed and he is very aware of it.
Thats one thing he definitly is.
Very in tune with sentiments, whats what, risks and potential regarding to fans, money, legacy.

    I don't think so.

I think Usyk is better than Fury pound for pound but Fury has a 6 inch height advantage, a 7 inch reach advantage and will probably have a 40 to 50 lb weight advantage.

I can see Fury beating Usyk at long range and then bullying him and wearing him down at close quarters.

I don't see Usyk beating Fury.

The question is, does Fury see Usyk beating Fury?

He's acting like a man that is rattled. He says he won't fight Usyk, but constantly talks about him. He finds outlandish reasons to put him down, some which border on projection.

I don't think Fury is afraid of Usyk per se, but he knows Usyk would be the best man head and shoulders he has ever gotten into the ring with.

As for the big size advantage...yeah, because it did Joshua so much good. Talent and a southpaw stance negate a lot of size.

Usyk is so good, I think the rest of the world should learn to speak Ukrainian.

Yeah i wish he did learn and speak more English it's always better for every Boxer when they do, with Usyk he is all business no BS, even with the media obligations he will do the bare minimum without adding much it's quite stale, though that is his nature,

So you know just to wait for the moment he about to fight everything outside of that usually leaves you with nothing sadly.

For a website of boxing fans, this place is so frequently disparaging of the general intelligence of boxers. The part of the population that boxes is no different from the wider population in terms of varying intellectual mileage. There are many who box who are also very perceptive and bright people.

If Shawn Porter can beat Usyk what do you think Fury will do to him?

Fury is right he's not a heavyweight and that's all she wrote.

    No.

If AJ loses again, and especially if he loses worse than the first time...AND...

If Fury sidesteps Usyk in favour of beating a thrice-beaten AJ, it would wreck Fury's legacy and I doubt too many people would be interested in buying it.

What would be the point ?

I don't see any sign of Fury being rattled.

The big size advantage will definitely help Fury. The reason why it didn't do Joshua much good is simply because AJ is very limited.

You can't use Joshua as an example when discussing Fury's chances.
