Well Mikey is fat enough to be considered as safe a name opponent as possible. He never loved boxing and with his money clearly lacks any ambition anymore. Still-he could pose problems.
I haven't seen Mikey's last fight VS Martin but surely to god he's the favourite here? Formerly on most p4p lists, very tidy all round boxer, took Spence the distance, and can bang a bit (at LW granted - remember Zlaticanin?)
A smaller man who no longer to be hungry. Much more skilled but realistically should lose this one Mikey. If he's hungry it's winnable though.
Mikey Garcia has p4p level skill, but 147lbs is not his natural weight and doesn’t seem dedicated to the sport anymore
Certainly a step up in terms of talent but also a pretty safe option. Not the most active however can certainly get the job done if he’s in the mood. A good fight for both in my opinion. Will deffo watch.
Could be another AJ/Ruiz situation. But Mikey is a fat welter and hasn't had his head in the game for years.
Garcia is way too small for 147 but he did best Jessie Vargas at that weight. If he’s motivated he’ll win easily. Mikey cares about money though so I wouldn’t be surprised if Hearn has paid him a bit extra to give Benn the win.
Shot to pieces old name midget. Fits the matchroom bill perfectly. Connor BENNE should have just enough about him to get a matchroom stoppage against a 34year old fat featherweight ffs
Benn needs to be cautious for a few years yet before stepping up to fight for the interim IBO World Title against a retired Latvian Crew Member from McDonalds
Garcia was awful in his last fight and didn't give 2 ****s that he lost. Would be shocked if he put in any effort in camp other than to make weight
It’s a good fight for Benn, but not as tough as Ramirez imo. Mikey must be comfy because he arguably lost to or drew with Vargas and then legit lost to the Spaniard. Once upon time he was P4P
