There were articles saying that "due to the stress of war", Usyk lost 22lbs in Ukraine.

This is just mind games by Usyk's team like how they were trying to get us to believe he was heavier than he was before the first fight, making him wear weird suits to make him look beefy, and he was still only 220.

Usyk is a terminator. He went to war, came back, but still uses the uncertainty of his mental/physical state to his advantage of play mind games with Joshua....

Usyk never lost any weight. The pic that made him look like a LHW was just a crappy angle/photoshop.

Unless he's on steroids, he didn't gain all his weight back that quickly, and you can see in the press conference, Usyk looks around the same he was in the previous fight, if not even bigger.

If Joshua wins, I don't want anyone to use any excuses about lost weight or war, as another excuse to avoid Joshua being given credit.

I still think Usyk will probably win, but I can already see the excuses that people will make for Usyk if he loses.

Usyk is still in his prime, he's still the same weight he was before. No B/S.

Also the same for Joshua - No "he got his tactics wrong" bull**** excuses.

Unless someone gets clearly robbed, then no excuses. This is the decider.

If Joshua gets slapped, he gets slapped. If Usyk gets KO'd, I don't want anyone saying "post prime, post war Usyk is not best Usyk" B.S

Usyk and his team are intelligent people, they wouldn't put Usyk in a ring with Joshua if he wasn't 100% ready. He's been back since March, and the fight will take place in August, giving him plenty of time to get his mind focused.

Plenty of boxers struggle with hard times in their life, but that's no excuse. If you're not ready for a fight, then say so and step aside or ask for more time.

Why did you write all that out - stop worrying about whether Joshua gets ‘credit’ or not.

People will always discuss the context of a fight result - the war is part of that.

    Post-war Usyk lol...

It's just the way of the world, you cannot please everyone, especially as a boxer. Say AJ caught Usyk clean in round 2 with something he had been working on with his new team. They'd be thousands of people claiming Usyk is over the hill, disregarding AJ has improved or entered his prime. Some of the voices would only be content if the KO happened after round 6 and the fight was close because to them that would prove Usyk was still in his prime. All while ticking several other boxes that would prove AJ beat the best Usyk. Even then they'll be someone with something to say, Usyk was just a crusierweight all along, he doesn't have the power and the millions of other excuses. Basically AJ has to fight the perfect fight and Usyk would have to look great losing the fight to satisfy the majority.

If Usyk loses, should it become a trilogy.

How would two trilogies (Ruiz, Usyk) change how Joshua is remembered.

    Trilogies are cool.

I'd love to know what this post would look like if it had been Birmingham, Manchester and London being shelled the last four months.

Usyk trilogy could be justified. Ruiz trilogy doesn't need to happen at all. No one wants to see that ****.

That sounds like projecting on your part. You’re hoping that Usyk would be mentally affected by the war and that It would increase AJ’s chances in the rematch, which also concerns you as if it can give Joshua advantage, It can also be an asterisk in case for an unlikely(unlikely to me, anyways) AJ win.

If someone will defeat Usyk, it would be his people, his team and his wife. (Just look at her social media, complete *****)

    I'm not projecting anything.

I wouldn't want Usyk to be effected by the war, I want both fighters to be at 100%.

What I'm saying is if AJ does win, I don't want people making excuses for Usyk like saying Usyk was effected by the war so it wasn't prime Usyk.

They will use that as an excuse. If Usyk wins, they will use the war as a way to amplify the win more. That's just how it works.

Uayk wasn't in his prime even at the first match. He is past it for sue, but still miles better than AJ. Will the War affect him will be known when we see him at fight night. How his physique is looking, how is his speed, cardio, feet, movement, etc.
