Crawford is good but Whittaker is far better

Sweet Pea and it isn't that close.

Crawford is brilliant, I think his body of work is impressive.

    But Pea was another level.

No comparison, Pea was one of the most skilled fighters that ever lived.

    Pernell. It's not close.

God I hope this is a troll thread as I have rarely seen so many people on this forum agree on anything this universally.

Can't look past Whitaker. Underrated offensive force, could bite down and dig in the trenches when called for (excellent body surgeon).

Yeah Pea's toughness is often overshadowed by his slickness when he comes up for discussion, he was a mean dude in the ring & physically stronger than he gets credit for.

I can't give Crawford the nod on this one. I think he's a damn good fighter, but nobody on his resume comes close to Sweetpea. Pea beat guys just as good or more accomplished than Crawford is. That being said, It would be am awesome fight.

I love Crawford, he's phenomenal, but this is insane. Name one thing that you can point to that says Crawford is more "skilled" than Pernell. Just one thing.

And note: power is not a skill, it's a talent so take that out of the equation.

Not far better imo. Pernell got away with so much due to superb athleticism and talent. Crawford is more refined and built his skills based on hardwork and not his natural gifts.
