When were Klitschko's and Fury's primes?
Both retired in the middle of their careers and came back with decent wins.
Klitschko came back to beat Peter for WBC and Fury beat Wilder for WBC title as well.
Also, both of them never fought the other top champ. Vitaly never fought Wlad and Fury never fought Usyk.

Fury's prime was around 2018-2020. Fury's best was against Wilder in the 2nd fight in 2020.

Wlad was probably in his early to mid 30's during his 10 year reign.

I'd go for Fury because Wlad is not KOing Fury, and he wont win on points. Fury is too unorthodox and unpredictable for his style and mindset.

Either could win, but I'd go for Prime for 7/10.

Fury’s prime was definitely not 2018, that was a much slower, lethargic version of him. He had 2 primes: Terminator Fury in 2020 against Wilder 2, and Slick Fury in 2015 against Wlad.

Slick Fury wins at least 9 out of 12 rounds against Vitali and barely gets touched in the process. Terminator Fury would be a riskier style for facing Vitali but could very well get the late TKO.

Tough one. Vitali, unlike his lil bro, would have had enough heart to let the hands go
    Fury by very close decision

One more thing to consider -- Vitaly never lost a battle on the scorecards.
So, Fury would have a very good boxer on his hands

Big Vit UD. Hell...maybe even TKO. If Wilder can drop Fury a few times, no doubt Vit could as well.

    He fought weak opp.
Vitaly never lost a battle on the scorecards.
Same thing can be said about Wilder until he fought Fury

Terrible logic. Wilder is the biggest puncher in the history of the sport and Vitali is a very average power puncher.

This 'biggest puncher' got that reputation with garbage opponents. Hey, Andre freakin Berto looked like SRL with his level of opp at WW too. Vit hits hard. And he's an accumulation puncher. Vit hurts you over the course of the fight. He wasn't a 'hail mary puncher' like Wilder.

Yeah, if MW Byrd can take shots from Vitali and stand in front of him like that, and Sanders can cleanly punch Vitali's fists with his head for that many rounds and not fall over, Arreola too, I highly doubt Vitali is landing enough to stop Fury. He doesn't have Wlad or Wilder power.
He also doesn't have Fury's speed, variety or defence.
He has toughness, engine, ego and size.

Fury is out-boxing him comfortably. Might even tear a hole in his face if he hits him enough.
