I agree to an extent and yes smarter fighters can become self sufficient and adapt of their own backs but people are different and some need instruction. I think Joshua falls into the later camp as not many can develop that aptitude.

He's lying through his teeth just like he was about never having a game plan before. He's making excuses whilst trying to give off the appearance he isn't and is someone who is above making excuses.

Obviously he holds holds huge physical advantages in weight, height, reach, strength and power over Usyk and is a very big puncher against natural HWs and giant SHWs his own size and can do damag, but even though Usyk is the far better fighter and would beat him 10 times out of 10 if they were even remotely the same size, size does matter.

His insufferable casual army of fans just repeat his BS and parrot every narrative he and E-Hearn concoct. The amount of times I've seen them say ''Respect to AJ because he always fights the best'' and act like it was him who deserves all the credit for taking on Usyk in his backyard where everything was heavily stacked in his favour, as per usual, whilst zero mention of Usyk travelling into, as per usual, the lion's den of his opponent's backyard to take on the way bigger, stronger and more powerful man in front of 65,000 of their rabid fans on a deck which couldn't have been stacked anymore against him.

He just couldn't deal with Usyk's constant movement, speed and feints and you could clearly see how befuddled he was by it right from the outset

Like the analogy he used himself the other day - fighting Usyk is like trying to swat a fly

And Joshua has admitted he cannot enter the rematch using an overly-aggressive approach otherwise he will come unstuck for a second time. “We might have to box, that’s what he (Garcia) said,"

“It depends what Usyk brings as well. “It’s like trying to swat a fly. You know, because I’m the bigger man, I’m gonna’ go in there and just swat this fly and it is going to die.

"But you know how difficult it is to swat a fly because it moves around a lot and how energy-draining that is. I can’t just now come in and start boxing like Mike Tyson - it’s just not me - I have got to be the best me.''

I can't disagree with you mate that's why I stated Joshua is a corporate soundbite machine the content of which means very little.
I wouldn't be surprised if he had an earpiece and was fed one liners for pressers by some spin doctor in the back room.
I've never liked his persona despite acknowledging that unlike Wilder at least took the harder fights in his shorter career.

I agree for the reason Joshua underperformed so much in the first fight. Even if it's a couple of rounds closer ie either 4-5 rounds to Joshua he will clearly get the decision.

He's a good fighter for sure and even though his gold medal is fraudulent and most of his biggest wins have been over senior citizens who were past/well past their best they were still good fighters themselves and worthy of their high ranking at the time and his resume is far better than that Dosser from Tuscaloosa. But he comes across as really fake and I find his interviews very cringey and I'm not buying all his BS.

Agree he did need instruction. They overwhelmed him with it to the point he never really learned for the higher level and started relying on it tho imo. Hes a big strong fella joshua with some good attributes....what they done got him success. But that type of coaching usually comes with a ceiling to that success.

Stuck between a bit of a rock and a hard place tbf...because joshua does have a couple of big weaknesses. I think we,ll find out if mckrackens hands we,re tied with them because i suspect them weaknesses might be bigger than people realise. Only real explanation behind either that to be the case or poor coaching for the higher level.

They corrected him as he made a mistake in training. The human brain usually needs to learn the hard way to really learn. He,d have matured into a better fighter by letting him make the mistakes....try to figure it out and then give him advice etc afterwards for me.

He wasnt really getting the chance to figure it out for himself. You could actually see him become a bit despondant in training because mckrackens a bit of a perfectionist.

Totally agree his persona is completely unlikeable to me I want to see that gloves are off with Millar. I think that might have been an indicator of his real personality but was buried by the cooperate sponsors as it would show him being a shithouse....
Which we both know he is and look I don't mind a shithouse if that's what it says on the tin.
What I don't like is something pretending to be a silk purse whist being a shithouse.
    A shithouse....

    shithouse

    shithouse

    shithouse

    shithouse

    shithouse

    shithouse

I agree I think as you state it was more that his team could only take him so far training wise which worked in the Am's and domestic level and his physical attributes got him through most of the top guys in the division at the top level. I just think he needed that change earlier maybe going to the states and getting that variety required for him to succeed against the elite. He has the size and physical attributes although has had a questionable gas tank due to maybe being 10-15 lbs heavier than optimal for his frame. I think that's an issue with many heavies today though looking for power rather than being built for the marathon.

That made me physically get AIDS I thought we were friends?
That clip confirms that the twat has an earpiece. look at his speech pattern and facial language. There's no variance at all in either the eyes. eyebrows or the rest of the face. Also looks like the shithouse is on Valium. Tell me I'm wrong.....it's pretty clear they're not his words generated from his own mind......There's no ****ing way.

 The scary thing is he obviously rehearsed that. What next? Is he going to try and intimidate Usyk, who is utterly fearless and comes from a much tougher place than Watford, by telling him the post code he comes from?

I can't disagree if you've ever been in that neck of the woods it's far more stoic and makes Northern England look like Haiti.....I like it as there's lot's of hot fannny and the architecture is cool but the food is shithouse....the point being as people they've been dumped on for well over a century. It's why a lot of the women are hard cold killers and most of the men are alcoholics. The net result of Communism so to speak.

Yeah. Not been myself but I know enough about that part of the world and Usyk to know he's not going to be remotely intimidated by some bodybuilder from Watford launching into a I'm a bad man/I looked up to the gangsters and hustlers monologue and so would AJ if he was really a bad man.

McCracken told him he was winning surely because he was worried AJ would have another mental collapse. If AJ really thought he was winning that fight then he’s dumber than he looks.
