Let's settle it once and for good. Do you think Wilder has a legitimate body of work for a champion?

So who are you referring to? Joshua? The man who knocked Wlad out?

Hardly flattering to your case to bring that up, but whatever.

I don't even think he succeeded in not losing to Fury, and neither does 85%-95% of the boxing community in any poll.

Crooked judging is not an achievement.

If beating Stiverne to become champ and then defending your title vs Breazeale, Washington and Ortiz is your best... then hell no.

That being said, Wilder needs to be test by someone else.

I wanna see Wilder against someone other than Fury or a complete bum. Ortiz is the only exception, and he caused Wilder all sorts of issues.

Wilder only has Ortiz and Fury as score, too thin. But he still has big options to up his career.

Joshua, Ruiz and Dillian are open to him

I'd pick Briggs career over his right now

Cardinal rule of internet forums: nothing ever gets settled once and for good. Time and users pass by and the debate goes on. A valuable life lesson really.

Yes, Briggs beat Foreman, prime Lyakovitch and Mercer.
Wilder only beat Ortiz and Ortiz beat nobody. Why is he even rated?

He does for a beltholder. Not for a champion, but he never was one so that's not an issue.

Exactly. Every time this clown starts a poll he says "everyone agrees."

There are 49,000 posters in this board.

Never saw 49,000 of them agree on anything.

If 3rd Ring ranked, big punching, never dropped in 26 fights, WBC champ Stiverne coming off back to back dominant wins over prime Arreola (one of Vitali's absolute best wins, top 10 ranked himself both times) is a "complete bum" then everyone below Povetkin (at minimum) on AJ's record is even bummier, including the 5'11 morbidly obese late sub non-puncher who brutalised him, dropped him 4 times and made him quit in 7.
