Normal people don’t. Tyson fanboys aren’t normal people.

Douglas was listening to the referees count which is the only count that matters to him and got up comfortably after taking as much time as he should to recover (as a smart pro would do). It wasn’t Busters fault that the referee picked up the count a couple of seconds after the timekeeper started nor was it his responsibility to do anything other than focus on the referees count as it’s the only one relevant to the fighter. He did just that, recovered completely between rounds and proceeded to continue to kick Tysons head in for the remainder of the fight.

It was only an issue because Don King made it so (and Tyson to his discredit went along with it). Luckily wiser heads eventually prevailed and Douglas got his thoroughly deserved victory.

Jose Napoles vs Carlos Monzon. Jose would have a very, very strong case for P4P then.

I wish Duran didn't go for the "No va mas" vs Leonard.
I wish He stayed in the fight to the end, win or lose.
Who knows, maybe Duran was going to lose all the same, or not. Maybe He would get a lucky shot and win.

But with the "No va mas" Duran tarnished his image and it never fully recovered afterwards. Sure He is an ATG who fought great bouts afterwards and accomplished great feats ... but at least for me, the "No va mas" episode sort of put him one step behind in the ATG ranking.

If we are doing plausible scenarios then DLH over Mayweather because I think it would be one of the best historical wins. Not THE best, but really up there.

If we are playing God then Calzaghe is KO'd from that early knockdown vs RJJ then RJJ retires forever

    Kessler-Froch II
Being a Kessler fan it would just have been awesome to see him ride off with a big win, and being the winner of the rivalry.

    Vitali-Lewis
Vitali put forward a great effort both in terms of ability and grit. It would just have been more fitting to have the man of the new era, upsetting the declining veteran.

    Duran Hearns

I know that it played out exactly as it was supposed to, but I just wish it could have been a more competitive fight.

I would chose this one as well. It was less a robbery more of a setup. Hagler deserved better regardless.

I'm no Tyson fanboy but I think there is room for some grievance re the count. I wouldn't say Douglas arose easily. Still visibly very wobbly on his feet. Long counts will always leave the question open as to whether a fighter could've risen or not. I'm aware of a number of other excuses for Tyson that I don't buy into. Not buying disproportionately into this one either. I noticed the ref start slow up at the tolling of the count at around "6" to "7" with Douglas still appearing quite the worse for wear.

I just think the complaint re the count is perhaps being lumped in with and dismissed (unduly) with other much less legitimate excuses during Mike's career. Strange analogy, but imagine if Ali ripped a Hail Mary against Holmes in round 8, with Larry struggling to barely rise half way between the ref's count of 9 and the potential tolling of "10" - after being afforded a "real" 14 seconds to haul himself up? Maybe more sympathy and outcry for Ali than there was for Iron Mike.

Ebihara vs Kingpetch 2. So if this bull**** never take place - Burruni woulld never become champion and he wouldnt have to duck Ebi. Hiroyuki deserves to be the champ till Accavallo

I don't want to go with something ridiculous, but like @willcross mentioned, 'Plausible scenarios.' On that note I would mention:

Ruben Olivares v Alexis Arguello - it always pains me to see a fighter do all the heavy lifting with the finish line in sight only to lose it down the stretch on a lucky or one-punch KO. If Olivares could have stayed the course, this fight would have gone a long way (with Arguello's trajectory) to show Ruben was also an all-time great feather.

Rodolfo Gonzalez v Antonio Cervantes - 2 future world champs meeting on the way up who engaged in a donnybrook. Both traded early round knockdowns and after 8 rounds, with Gonzalez slightly ahead, the fight is called due to a worsening cut. Again, like the Olivares fight, with the trajectory that Cervantes was on, a win for Gonzalez would have gone a long way for him historically.

Ken Buchanan v Roberto Duran - the win always had an uneasy moment. Duran was comfortably ahead but getting way-layed in the nether regions is no way to lose a title. At least a no-contest.

Armando Muniz v Jose Napoles I - Muniz deserved this win and the title in this bout - end of story! I'm not saying Napoles couldn't come again as he did in their rematch, but in this bout, barring the referee, WBC and Mexican commission conspiring to salvage something for Napoles, the rightful winner would be Muniz on a 12th round TKO, with Muniz crowned champ.
