Joe Joyce beats him down the stretch by stoppage I hate to say it and Joe is one fighter who I probably have the most respect for alongside Hagler. Foreman is small next to Joyce, Joyce is just as tough probably hits just as hard. Isn't technically as proficient but young big Goerge was hardly the most elusive man himself. He used his attributes to their maximum and so does Joyce. Frazier needs to come forward to close distance and that against Joyce is a bad night. Ali is a headhunter pot shorter who hurts you by wearing you down and catching you off guard. Joyce blows holes in you like foreman. Joyce keeps Joe at a distance whilst getting outworked early before pinning the smaller man against the ropes and making love to him Frazier could win a decision against a younger Joyce who fights a poor fight.
6f6 260lb olympian gold medalist with 80 inch vs 6ft 200lb olympian gold medalist with 73 inch reach. Mismatch
Oh **** off are some of you lot drunk? I'd take Frazier over Joyce if Frazier weighed ****in 100 pounds
Frazier UD. May not stop Joyce but he has the engine and movement to get a wide points victory over the bigger but much slower and less skilled opponent
The engine, the elusiveness, the ferocity and Armstrong like conflux of defense and offense. Prime Frazier is not to be taken lightly by any ATG heavyweight. Not a single one. I blame George for tarnishing Joe's credibility against punchers. Foreman being a largely misunderstood fighter himself (grossly underestimated defense and speed/reflexes combined with very rarely replicated and hence generally poorly comprehended style) only reinforces the spurious notion that being big and something of a puncher is enough to trouble him. Not to mention Frazier was poorly prepared for the Sunshine Showdown to begin with.
The similarities between Foreman and Joyce are tenuous to say the least. Frazier damages the big man.
Joyce sucks. Was getting teed off on by Dubois. I don’t know why people are impressed by that kind if performance.
