Jerome Artis, I believed beat SRL as an amateur, but was a journeyman as a pro.

Got two that were great amateurs , and almost everyone thought they'd be can't miss pro's.
    Clint Jackson and Ray Seales.
Also, we can toss in Howard Davis Jr.
Who was thought to be the very best of
    The 76 Olympic team.

Especially after Booker T hit him. And he had some nice moves after Toney hit him, too.

There's a few gold medalists that come to mind, not all the names on this list i would class as "very bad" but i would say there career's didn't live up to there amateur pedigree.

    Leo Randolph
    Antonio Roldan
    Howard Davis Jr
    Andrew Maynard
    Pete Rademacher
    Henry Tillman
    Tyrell Biggs
    Paul Gonzales
    Audley Harrison
    Yan Barthelemy
    Michael Carruth
    Odlanier Solis

Then there's other good amateurs that failed to live up to there Amateur pedigree.

    Mark Breland
    Kelcie Banks
    Francisco Bojado
    Rau'shee Warren
    James Busceme
    Kenny Gould
    Jorge Luis Gonzalez
    Ricardo Williams Jr
    Rocky Juarez
    Ramon Garbey
    Michael Bentt
    Dante Craig
    Shawn O'Sullivan
    Matt Koborov

Michael Bentt comes to mind. Very decorated amateur who lost his first pro fight by brutal ko. Yes he had the upset to Morrison but that's a pretty weak signature win never successfully defended the title hide retired him as 11-2 having won a title that wasn't considered a major one at the time.

So yeah 11-2 really hating boxing the whole time (according to Bentt himself) and then getting a brain injury and having to retire is a pretty bad pro career.
