Louis is more modern. Holmes is too primitive with his chin a mile in the air, and leaning back like a holdover from bareknuckle. Louis KO 1 if they let Holmes in the ring with him.
I actually agree with you that Louis stops Cooney early. Just like he’d stop Shavers early. Louis was a superb fighter with power to spare. I suppose I’m just saying Prime Cooney would have an outside punchers chance cos that boy could bang.
I can't wrap my head around how much Louis struggled with Conn while in his prime, and the size disadvantage doesn't help against Holmes' opposition. Probably doesn't make it to 49-0.
